OUR STORY
-
ARÓN JACO was founded by Mexican-American designer, Aaron Angeles. The logo is inspired by the sacred Aztec symbol “Olin”.
Translated from the ancient Nahuatl language, Olin means movement or motion. The Olin symbol represents a day in the sacred Aztec calendar that is regarded as an auspicious day to take action and not be passive.
This symbol is reflective of the struggle and perseverance many hispanic immigrants have faced. Its a symbol of hope and a reminder of how far you can go if you challenge yourself to take risk and action.

ARÓN JACO was born from the desire to reclaim and celebrate the stories of those who often feel disconnected from their cultural roots.
Our mission is to inspire BIPOC creatives to embrace their heritage, trust their creative instincts, and pursue their passions unapologetically.
We believe in the power of storytelling, resilience, and taking bold action to create a future where every voice can be seen, heard, and valued.
Our mission is to empower underrepresented voices throughout the creative industry, foster bold self-expression, and show that the pursuit of creative dreams is not only possible, but essential.
